In this task i had to go out and photograph architecture in an abstract way.I found this task quite difficult because of the location which i was at which was inside college.
I like this image of the light because of the way the yellow stands out from the black. The light was on when i took this which you can obviously tell but i think this makes the shot look better as it has more colour to it.
I took this shot of a pass code lock .I did this landscape so that the lock would be horizontal to make it look more interesting to look at. I think if i was to re shoot this i would shoot vertically and get in just half of the lock which i think would be effective.
This is a photo of a plain black tiled wall. I chose to do this as it is simple and not too complicated with a lot of detail on.
This is of the top of a post which is really detailed so i chose to photograph this because of the detail. I shot on manual and adjusted the exposure and aperture to make sure the contrast came out right.
This is a photo of a camera which i thought looked quite interesting so i shot it from a low angle looking up at it .I would of liked to of got closer to the camera and shoot it in a more interesting angle however i couldn't as it was high up and i couldn't reach.
I quite like this photo of the pipes because of the colour of them which stands out especially the part nearest to the camera then gets darker the further away it gets.
This shot is of the ceiling in the corridor in college. I took this at a wormseye view to get in a bigger scale of the ceiling. I like the way just one corner of the pattern is in the shot and not the whole pattern at it would look boring.
This photo is of the pillar of the banister going down the stairs. I like this shot because you can see the definition of the pillar because the lense is focussed making it a clear shot, also the contrast works well.
This shot is of some wires which have been painted and are cracked which i think makes them interesting because of the cracked paint making them look old and that they haven't been touched in a while.
Below are some of the extra images i took for this task.
