Colour film images

These are my colour film photos which i took when i went on a trip to Leeds.

This is the first image which i took which was inside Trinity. I quite like this image because of how the layout of the roof is as there are different sections of roof stacked on top of each other. I like the angle which i shot this image at. If i was too shoot again i would try and not get the statue in which is in this shot on the left hand side as it ruins the picture a bit.

This picture was taken inside the Every Man cinema in Trinity. I quite like the way this turned out. I chose to take a close up shot of the stairs rather than further away as i thought it would look more effective and interesting.I think the contrast on this photo works as there isn't too much lighting and it isn't too dark.

This was similar to the image above as this was of the stairs in the cinema. This time i took the shot further away so i could get in all the stairs. I don't like this image as there is too much lighting on the left hand side which has blurred the photos on the wall so you cant see them. This photo was blury so if i was to re-shoot i would make sure i focused the lense properly.

This photo was in Every Man cinema. I took this because i thought it worked well for architecture because of the ceiling above the lights which looks like it is till being constructed. You can't actually see it very clearly on this photo but if you look carefully, the light nearest the camera is the clearest and then they blur as they get further away.

This photo is also in the Every Man cinema. I was aiming to capture the light rather than what was in the background behind the light, but i think it works as the background sort of makes the picture look better. I liked the way the light looked as it has lots of lights attached and i had never seen a light like it before so i thought it looked unique. I like the way the window looked because of the structure of it, it reminds me of inside a castle.

This was the final image i took inside the everyman cinema. This was on a balcony bit just outside of it.This image is a good example for reflection as you can see the reflection of the building on the glass.I thought this was a good shot to take as i liked the view as it overlooked part of the roof of trinity and you could see the old building behind it. The photo is quite dark as it was quite a gloomy day which reflects on the whole of the picture.

This shot was taken on the second floor where i shot at a high angle at the every man cinema and the roof. I think this photo is quite boring as there isn't much to it, however i quite like the way the roof sis on a slope above the building making it look 3D.

This is one of my favourite shots i took in Trinity. I like this because i captured a large proportion of the roof so you could see the scale of it. I find the roof really interesting anyway but i just like the way this shot turned out with the number of buildings in the buildings which you  can see through the glass.

This is another one of my favourite images i took. This was on the second floor again overlooking the lower floor to the outside of trinity. I like the way the roof looks on this as it starts of high then the next one is lower but they aren't connected. The building as at the end which is outside of trinity, stands out not just because it is at the end of the walkway, but because of the shade of brown it is which stands out.

This photo was taken inside nandos i think, looking out at the other shops outside. I don't like this image as you can see the reflection of the lights in nando's on the building outside because i took this shot through glass.

This image was the same as the shot above however this one i took at a lower angle so i could get the leaves in which were outside. Again, this didn't really work because of the reflections and it wasn't focused properly.

This image was in Nando's. I thought the lights looked interesting because you could see their wires which were connected to them which were strung up onto the ceiling in an unusual way. If i was to shoot this again i think it would be good to focus on the yellow light so all the other lights around it look blury.

This was on the balcony outside the cinema. This was a low angle shot as i wanted to capture as much of the wall as i could as it was really high up. I would shoot this again and stand a bit more to the left so i could get the whole of the window in so it would be even.

This image i really don't like. It was inside Fuel juice bar and the lights looked like crates with bulbs in.This image is really blury which is why i don't like it and the lights also made it look more blury.

This was in Trinity of the TJI Friday's sign outside the restaurant. I'm not sure why i din't capture the whole of the logo as you wouldn't know what it is unless you recognised it.
